Use a photo of one person with all their hair visible. Even lighting and a background that contrasts with your hair help the selection.
Choose a color, then adjust Color strength. Shade preview changes brightness as well as color; Subtle tint keeps more of your original hair shade.

For a pale blonde or white-haired look, choose Platinum and use Shade preview. Start with Shadow depth at 100% to keep darker folds and strand contrast, then adjust Color strength. Lower Shadow depth if you prefer a softer, more evenly lit result. Subtle tint is useful for a gentler color change, but it will leave naturally dark hair looking dark.
Large changes from black to platinum are harder to preview convincingly. The editor uses the detail already in your photo; it cannot recover strands hidden in deep shadow. Try a brighter, evenly lit photo and use Refine hair selection around the edges. This is a color reference for exploring a look, not a prediction of bleach or hair dye results.

No. The hair segmentation model and color editor run in your browser. Model files download on first use, but this tool does not upload your photo.
No. This is an edited color reference, not a prediction of dye results. Your starting shade, previous color, lighting and hair condition affect the real outcome. Use the preview to discuss a direction with your colorist.
Yes. Choose Platinum with Shade preview to lighten the detected hair. Keep Shadow depth at 100% for the strongest separation between bright strands and darker folds, or lower it for a softer result. Subtle tint mainly changes the existing color and will not turn black hair white. A large dark-to-light change can still look artificial, especially when the original photo has little strand detail.
Open Refine hair selection. Use Erase to remove unwanted color and Add hair to include missed areas. A smaller brush helps around the hairline. Undo reverses a brush stroke; Reset restores the automatic selection.
The tool recolors the detected hair area while retaining its light and shadow detail. It does not generate a new face or haircut. Detection can miss flyaways or include similar-colored background areas.
